We start our day trip in Marrakech. We'll pick you up from your hotel or from the airport.

You'll start your tour at 8 am in Marrakesh.

Than we'll drive you toast Ben Haddou in about 4 hours. The city is known for its beautiful kasbas, which are built against a hill. These are constructed from loam and together are called the Ksar. The kasbas are reinforced by walls with corner towers with narrow alleys in between, and thus a typical example of southern Moroccan architecture. The city was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987 

After Ait Ben Haddou we'll drive to Ouarzazate in about half an hour. Near Ouarzazate you'll find the largest film studios of the world. The Atlas film studios are 6 km away from Ouarzazate. This is a huge studio complex that extends over more than 30,000 m² of desert. The studios are open to the public.

You'll head back to Marrakesh around 4 pm and we'll bring you back to your hotel in Marrakesh.

Ouarzazate has about 98,500 inhabitants and is located south-east of Marrakech at a 4-hour drive between the High Atlas and the Anti-Atlas.

Ouarzazate is home to the largest film studio in the world called Atlas Studios. Several well-known films were recorded in this studio. The city is called "Hollywood of Morocco". Well-known films such as "Sex in the City2" and "The Jewel of the Nile" and "Gladiator" have been recorded there.

To the east of Ouarzazate lies El Mansour Eddahbi, a moored lake that is several kilometers long.

Ouarzazate has one of the largest solar power stations in the world. The first part of the power plant was inaugurated by King Mohammed VI in February 2016, making it part of Morocco's energy plan.

Ouarzazate is a quiet provincial town with wide streets, many hotels and various parks and gardens. It lies at an altitude of 1160 m, at the intersection of the Draa valley and the Dade. The Atlas film studios are 6 km away from Ouarzazate. This is a huge studio complex that extends over more than 30,000 m² of desert. The studios are open to the public, and if you visit, you may be lucky enough to even make film recordings. The city is a favorite stopping place for tourists on their way to the Sahara desert. Most of them stock up here for their journey to the desert.

The city has around 750 inhabitants, most of whom nowadays live in modern houses in a neighborhood on the other side of the river. However, a few families still live within the ksar.
