We start our day trip in Marrakech. We'll pick you up from your hotel or from the airport.

You'll start your tour at 9 am in Marrakesh.

Than we'll drive you to Safi in about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Safi is also an important port and it's famous because of his pottery. After Safi we take the toll road till near Oualidia. A very small landlord takes us to Oualidia with a small fishing port and fantastic restaurants to eat fish.

Spend a day near the seaside of Oualidia and enjoy for example an excellent lunch at the terrace of the beautiful five-star hotel La Sultana and discover the quiet waterfront with her beautiful nature. There you also can eat the famous Oualidia oysters, for me the best I ever had. There is another restaurant where you can go for oysters or other very fresh fish, the Oyster Farm (Ostrea II) and like Hotel Sultana always with fresh oysters.

Make a boat-trip in a little boat if you likened watch the birds. You also can make a walk in the old Medina.

Enjoy the tour to and from Oualidia in one of our comfortable cars. 

You'll head back to Marrakesh around 4 pm and we'll bring you back to your hotel in Marrakesh.

Oualidia is a town with about 4000 inhabitants and is located halfway between Casablanca and Essaouira. The main attraction is the beautiful beach bordered by dunes. Due to its isolated location, mass tourism has not been given a chance here and Oualidia is therefore particularly suitable for those seeking tranquility. The town itself is not very much, but off the coast is a beautiful lagoon with wonderfully quiet bathing water. The five-star hotel La Sultana is the place that the Moroccan royal family once chose as a summer residence. Oualidia is also known for its highly qualified oyster farming and lovers of these shellfish can get their hands on it here. It is also a paradise for birdwatchers, because of the large bird migration that comes here in the spring and autumn on the way to Central Africa.

South of Oualidia is Safi, since the 16th century an important Moroccan port and especially known for its beautiful pottery. It has an interesting Medina, where the traces of the Portuguese past have been well preserved.

Oualidia ist eine Stadt mit etwa 4000 Einwohnern und liegt auf halber Strecke zwischen Casablanca und Essaouira. Die Hauptattraktion ist der schöne Strand mit Dünen. Aufgrund seiner isolierten Lage hat der Massentourismus hier keine Chance und Oualidia eignet sich daher besonders für Ruhesuchende. Die Stadt selbst ist nicht sehr häufig, aber vor der Küste ist eine wunderschöne Lagune mit wunderbar ruhigen Badegewässern. Das Fünf-Sterne-Hotel La Sultana ist der Ort, den die marokkanische Königsfamilie einst als Sommerresidenz wählte. Oualidia ist auch für seine hochqualifizierte Austernzucht bekannt und Liebhaber dieser Schalentiere können hier ihre Hände bekommen. Es ist auch ein Paradies für Vogelliebhaber, wegen der großen Vogelwanderung, die im Frühjahr und Herbst auf dem Weg nach Zentralafrika hierher kommt.

Südlich von Oualidia liegt Safi, seit dem 16. Jahrhundert ein wichtiger marokkanischer Hafen und besonders bekannt für seine schöne Töpferei. Es hat eine interessante Medina, wo die Spuren der portugiesischen Vergangenheit gut erhalten sind.

Oualidia is een plaatsje met zo'n 4000 inwoners en ligt aan zee halverwege Casablanca en Essaouira. De belangrijkste attractie is het door duinen begrensde schitterende strand. Vanwege de geïsoleerde ligging heeft het massa toerisme hier geen kans gekregen en Oualidia is dan ook met name geschikt voor rustzoekers. Het plaatsje zelf stelt niet zo heel veel voor, maar voor de kust ligt een fraaie lagune met heerlijk rustig zwemwater. Het vijfsterren hotel La Sultana is de plek die het Marokkaanse Koningshuis ooit verkoos tot zomerresidentie. Oualidia staat verder bekend om zijn hoog gekwalificeerde oesterteelt en liefhebbers van deze schelpdieren kunnen hier hun slag slaan. Het is ook een paradijs voor vogelliefhebbers, vanwege de grote vogeltrek die hier in het voor- en najaar langskomt op weg naar Midden Afrika. 

Ten zuiden van Oualidia ligt Safi, al sinds de 16e eeuw een belangrijke Marokkaanse havenplaats en vooral bekend om zijn mooie aardewerk. Het heeft een interessante Medina, waar de sporen van het Portugese verleden goed zijn behouden.
